First World Plaza

One floor above the lobby level of the hotel is a 500,000-square-foot (46,000 m2) plaza called the First World Plaza, housing retail and dining outlets and Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park attractions.

The hotel also connects to the brand new shopping mall, SkyAvenue which also house the Awana Skyway station that links to the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets.

First World Plaza is a shopping centre located below First World Hotel, the biggest hotel in Genting Highlands, Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia. It comprises the hotel lobby for First World Hotel. Attractions in the plaza includes bowling center, cineplex, "watersplash" pool (a warm indoor swimming pool made for mostly young children), Genting International Convention Center, Haunted Adventure and a Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum. A casino was also built on the location of the previous "The Pavilion" which was a concert venue for entertainment-related performances. Entertainment-related performances such as dances, acrobatic shows and magical shows are held in an area called Times Square. However, all of these attractions had been closed under the First World Plaza refurbishment and the Twentieth Century Fox World construction projects.

On 1 June 2017, the whole plaza was closed for refurbishment. On 1 August 2017, SnowWorld, Genting Bowl and Funtasy World Video Games Park within the plaza were also closed to make way for the development work of the new indoor theme park. In 2018, the plaza reopened with new retail and dining outlets. Singapore-based retailer Tangs opened its fourth outlet in Malaysia, on the second floor of First World Plaza.

Along with First World Hotel, First World Plaza is managed by First World Hotels and Resorts Sdn Bhd, one of the companies operating in Resorts World Genting.
